St Louis Plays the “eminent domain” card to keep the Rams in St. Louis

Rams StadiumSupporters of the proposed NFL stadium in Downtown St. Louis have obtained approval to use eminent domain powers in order to acquire land needed for the project. The City of St. Louis is embroiled in a tug-of-war with Las Angeles for the Rams NFL franchise. The team has played in St. Louis since 1995. The current team owner, Stan Kroenke, has control over land for a stadium that would be the new home to the Rams if the NFL approves his application to relocate the franchise.
