Homeowners along new Page-Olive expressway denied sound walls.

Homeowners along new Page-Olive expressway denied sound walls.

While the new “Page Olive” connector expressway being constructed by St. Louis County still does not have a name to it, those who live along this future highway seem to agree that it will be loud. However, there are no plans to construct any form of sound barriers along this stretch of the new “outerbelt.” South of Olive, where MoDot is extending Highway 141 to meet with the County’s expressway, sound walls are being installed to block the noise. Homeowners along the St Louis County portion are looking for answers as to why they are being treated differently.
