Franklin County and Warren County – New Route 47 Bridge Over Missouri River

A new bridge is being designed to replace the existing Route 47 bridge over the Missouri River just north of Washington, Missouri, linking Franklin County to Warren County. The project is in partnership with Missouri Highway Department (MoDOT), the City of Washington, and Franklin and Warren Counties. The new bridge would include wider lanes, shoulders, and an eight foot bike/pedestrian path, resulting in a safer and more efficient bridge from Franklin County to Warren County.
