St. Louis County, Missouri is preparing a study to improve Shackelford Road from Humes Lane to Charbonier Road for the purpose of reducing accidents by widening Shackelford from four to five lanes.  If additional right of way is needed for the improvements, St. Louis County has the option to use eminent domain to acquire the property and rights it needs for the project.
